Public bus
- Public bus from the central bus station in Phuket town
you will find buses heading north to Surathani. Buses depart roughly every hour from about 7am to 3pm. The ride takes about 4 hours, and you might have a stop in Takua Pa. - Public from Phuket Airport
There is no direct bus from Phuket airport to Khao Sok. Public bus has a stop at or near the airport. On your arrival to the airport you can hire a tuk-tuk or taxi to the bus stop at the airport if it’s too far for you to walk. Be prepared that the price of Tuk Tuk and Taxis in Phuket is quite high. The buses come from Phuket Town, and reach the airport about 30-45 minutes later. Another way is you take a public bus from the Airport to the central bus station in Phuket town, take a bus to Khao Sok. The ride takes about 4 hours, and you might have a stop in Takua Pa. From Phuket town- 180 km – 3.5 hours
Follow route 402 across the Sarasin Bridge to Khok Kloy (โคกกลอย). Next bear left onto route 4 towards Thai Mueang (ท้ายเหมือง). Continue on route 4 past Khao Lak and, about 7 km after Takua Pa, head straight as route 4 becomes route 402 and heads east towards Surathani (do not turn left on route 4 heading north towards Ranong). Khao Sok National Park are frequently marked from here on. Turn left onto Khao Sok Road. Head north on the road for 1.5 km and go over a bridge. 40 meters after the bridge, you will see a sign for Art’s Riverview Lodge – turn right on this small paved road and stay on the road as it passes several bungalows and then makes a sharp right hand turn and becomes a dirt road. You will also find Art’s Riverview Lodge signs there. Head on this road and it will lead you to our place.
